Structure LADA is a membership organization, divided into 23 area associations all based within Zambia's Southern Province. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors. Under our constitution, the position of Board Chairperson will always be held by a woman. The Secretariat, located in Monze Town, oversees the coordination of LADA activities within the area associations and provides administrative support. Our work is funded with the generous financial support of partners as well as through a member-based subscription system. Community members wishing to participate in decision-making and community-led income generating activities initiated by LADA join as members and pay an initial fee of K10,000. The annual membership fee is K5,000, thereafter. Thirty-percent of an area association's membership fees are remitted to the Secretariat. |
